EPIDEMIOLOGICAL ASPECTS AND THE IMPORTANCE OF PREVENTION IN DISEASE CONTROL
Abstract
This article examines the role and significance of the epidemiological approach in disease prevention. It analyzes the factors contributing to the spread of infectious and non-infectious diseases, their prevention, and their impact on public health. Vaccination, hygiene, a healthy lifestyle, and regular medical check-ups are considered key elements in preventing diseases. Additionally, the role of epidemiological surveillance and preventive strategies in the healthcare system is discussed.
