THE IMPORTANCE OF MICROFLORA IN HUMAN LIFE
Abstract
The human microbiota is a complex ecosystem composed of various microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and archaea. These microorganisms inhabit the intestines, skin, oral cavity, and other body parts, playing a crucial role in maintaining health. The gut microbiota contributes to strengthening the immune system, digesting food, synthesizing vitamins, and protecting against pathogenic microbes. However, an imbalance in the microbiota can lead to dysbiosis, which is associated with obesity, diabetes, allergies, mental disorders, and autoimmune diseases. This article explores the key functions of human microbiota, its relationship with health, and its role in disease prevention and treatment.
