Abstract

The Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF) has become one of the most strategically important events in Uzbekistan’s economic calendar. As the country transitions toward a more open, liberalized economy, the forum functions as a key platform for engaging international investors, showcasing national reforms, and encouraging foreign direct investment (FDI). This article explores the significance of TIIF for Uzbekistan’s economic development, sectoral diversification, and international positioning. Drawing on personal experience as a translator for a delegate from Paris Airport, the article also highlights the practical dynamics of international cooperation fostered through the forum. Economic data, sectoral statistics, and institutional analysis underline the TIIF’s growing role as a catalyst for national growth and global integration.
